The 5th grade band is off to a great start!
Class meets every Tuesday and Thursday. Students should bring their instrument to school on either Monday or Tuesday and then take it home every Thursday. If a student forgets to bring their instrument, they lose 20 points for that day. Missed participation can be made up by submitting a practice sheet the following Tuesday with 30 minutes of practice per day missed. Practice sheet must be signed by a parent to receive full credit.
There are still a few students that don't have instruments. All students must have an instrument and book before the end of the 1st 9 weeks (October 15), or schedules will have to be changed. Contact a
band director immediately if you still need to make arrangements to get an instrument.
